1Forgotten Star Brewing Co.Forgotten Star Brewing Co. is a fun place for date nights and other gatherings! It's located in a historical manufacturing building with two huge smokestacks. They have many local, award-winning beers here. There's plenty of space inside, but if it's nice out, you can sit on the patio, which we did. They even have outdoor recreation activities like bocce ball and food trucks. Check their schedule for food trucks, trivia, and other events! Watch the trains pass by too.

2Northern Soda CompanyThe Northern Soda Company has a craft soda taproom and soda factory at their new location in New Brighton! You can even order pizza and play board games and arcade games. Ask for a free tour of their soda factory, sit with your sweetie, and share a soda flight like we did. Or attend one of their free tasting events. We went during one of these events and tried so many! I loved the Almond Cream and Blueberry sodas. I recommend trying their popular flavors like Minnesota Birch Beer and Minnesota Apple. There are many more flavors, and new ones are constantly being created.

3Nucky's SpeakeasyNucky's Speakeasy is located in Anoka. Go down the back stairs and enter the "post office" door after telling them the password. It's like going back in time to the 1920s Prohibition Days! You can order drinks, appetizers, and desserts while enjoying live music, comedy, and more. Dress in 1920s flair if you want to! (But if you just dress casually but nice, like we did, that's okay, too!)

4Crooners Supper ClubCrooners is a classic, 1960's style supper club with multiple stages for live entertainment. We enjoyed free entertainment in Maggie's Lounge, where you can still get a table and enjoy their full menu or just apps and drinks. We enjoyed cocktails and stuffed mushrooms, while listening to singer Charmin Michelle and pianist Rick Carlson who were fabulous. The volume was perfect for light conversation too. We checked out the other stages where some well-known musicians were performing, but paid tickets are required. It's a great place for a night out for couples!
