Hans’ Bakery
Hans’ Bakery was the American dream of Hans and Traudy Birkner, German immigrants. Kelly Olsen gave the beloved Anoka Hans’ Bakery a second opportunity when it shuttered in 2010. Bakery has been reopened since 2014, bringing back the classic German recipes that made this bakery renowned, such as rye bread, pastries, Black Forest cakes, and the famous almond cream and coffee cake.
