Canoe Camping along the Rum River
Canoe camping is a relatively new recreational resource offered by the Anoka County Park System. Two canoe camping locations are available for your use at Rum River North County Park (at the northwestern corner of the park) and Rum River Central Regional Park (directly east to the river from the park entrance).
There is no charge for using the canoe campsites and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If there is a need to park one vehicle in the park overnight, please complete the special use permit request form and submit it to the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department via fax or mail 14 days prior to the requested date of the overnight stay.
Please keep the campsite areas clean for the next group.
