Legacy Bike Ride
A fun, family-focused, ride to support Bikes4Kids. Meet at the Coon Rapids Dam (East Side, Pavilions 1 and 2) for a light snack before we depart to ride. 8-Mile easy family ride along the Rush Creek Trail System to Oak Grove Park where we’ll have snacks and play at the park (4 miles there, 4 miles back).
Feeling more ambitious? We have an 18 mile route that takes you past Oak Grove Park, out to the Elm Creek Trail System and back through the trails to the CR Dam.
Want to go the distance? Sign up for the 35 mile ride! Snacks at all rest stops and lunch when you return! All routes begin and end at the Coon Rapids Dam east-side pavilions. In the event of rain or bad weather, the cancellation of your tickets will be considered a donation. Thank you for understanding!

Event Features:
Every year since 2021 years Bikes4Kids has collected and refurbished bicycles. This non-profit is a100% volunteer organization. All the collection (by trailer and truck) refurbishing (cleaning, tuning, replacing parts) is completed by a team of volunteers. This event is designed to raise funds for Bikes4Kids – so they can purchase tires, tubes, and other necessary bicycle parts. In 2021 Bikes4Kids cleaned, reconditioned and gave away over 3,500 bicycles. Each bike is delivered with a new helmet and bike lock.
Our Mission and Who We Are: The Robert and Wilma Burbach Bike Foundation (RWBBF, a non-profit 501c3 organization doing business as Bikes4Kids) collects and refurbishes used, serviceable bicycles to redistribute to kids and people in need.
