Join us as we celebrate the swinging and timeless music of Buddy Rich. Dinner and drinks service starts 1 hour before showtime.

Joe Pulice salutes Buddy Rich with an all-star band of musicians from the Twin Cities. This performance will highlight the music that Buddy made famous throughout his illustrious career. Three former members of Buddy’s band will be showcased throughout the evening – Brian Grivna on alto sax, as well as Peter Enblom and Wade Clark on trombone.

Baritone Saxophone – Rich Manik

Trumpets – Bob Hallgrimson, Jeff Gottwig, Steve Wagner, Doug Snapp

Piano – Adi Yeshaya

Electric Bass – Dave Mendenhall

Drums – Joe Pulice

 

Joe Pulice toured with Woody Herman and his Thundering Herd during Woody’s 50th Anniversary Tour in 1986. Joe won a Minnesota Jazz Music Award as a member of world-renowned drummer Eric Kamau Gravatt’s group “Kamanari”. During the 1990’s, Joe was a member of Jack McDuff’s New York based band, “The Heatin’ System.” Joe was the drummer in the JazzMN Orchestra for 20 years and is currently playing with the Adi Yeshaya Orchestra as he has for the past 30 years.
