THE GRAY GHOST RUN IS SERIOUS FUN
The Anoka Gray Ghost Run has been an Anoka Halloween tradition since 1985. Whether you’re a serious runner or just want to have some fun in front of more than 25,000 Grand Day Parade spectators, the Gray Ghost is serious fun.

Event Features:

Date: Saturday, October  29, 2022

Registration & Check-in: 10:00am – 12:30 pm

Check-in at Franklin Elementary School at 215 West Main Street

Race Start: 12:50 pm

Performance Awards:

Trophy presented to overall 1st place for men and for women in the 5K.  Awards given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each of nine divisions for men and women.  No awards or trophies in the One Mile Fitness Walk.

Costume Contest:

All participants are eligible for the costume contest. Medals will be awarded to:

  • top 5 judged individuals
  • top 5 judged 2 to 3 person teams
  • top 5 judged group participants

To qualify for group awards, the group must participate as a unit throughout the event entered. Costume judging will be held in the gym at Franklin School during registration. Judging ends at 12:40 pm. Costume awards given out at the finish line area.
