1Zero Gravity Adventure ParkZero Gravity Adventure park is a sure bet for family friendly fun. Located in Moundsview, tucked away behind The Mermaid in an industrial complex is a place full of fun and energy. They have trampolines everywhere, including dodgeball trampoline areas for little and big kids (separate courts depending on age/seriousness of play), basketball hoops, a ropes course, a huge inflated fabric landing zone to jump onto (formerly a foam pit), kids play area with tubes, a climbing wall (that you can fall off and jump off safely), arcade games, and laser tag. A great place to burn off some energy, get some exercise, and have all sorts of family fun. Great place to have a birthday party as well. Highly recommended!

2AMC CLASSIC Mounds View 15Next stop on this family fun adventure is at AMC Classic to see a movie. On our visit, we saw the movie Migration and had a great time! AMC Classic plays first run movies, but has discount theater prices, so this is a great way to see new movies and save money. Family night movies can be very expensive quickly, but not so here. They have concessions available, of course, and an arcade area. Family night out on a budget? This is the place to go!

3Osaka Sushi & Hibachi SteakhouseAfter all this fun and activity, everyone is going to need a bit to eat and refuel. I have the perfect family spot for you. Hibachi at Osaka Sushi &Hibachi. My family absolutely loves hibachi, as the food is great and it is like dinner theater for everyone to watch the hibachi chef cook with flair! The flaming volcano onion, the throwing shrimp into patron’s mouths, the squirting of sake (or lemonade for kids) into patron’s mouths until they can’t take anymore- it is so much fun! The show and experience is great, but the food is amazing too. Scooped right off the sizzling grill and put right onto your plate. It doesn’t get any better!

4Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Minneapolis North/BlaineAfter all this fun and food, you need a good night's rest. Head over to the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Blaine for an amazing stay. The lobby is a beauty, with a modern fireplace and a lot of seating area beyond the fireplace in the breakfast area. Complimentary breakfast is served and it is a really good one with lots of options. Breakfast sandwiches, cold cereal, muffins (including gluten free), bagels, fruit, juice, coffee, Belgian waffles, eggs, bacon (or sausage depending on the day), and oatmeal with a topping bar! The rooms are very nicely updated, modern, and clean. Fridges and coffee makers in the room and very comfortable beds. There is also a pool, hot tub, and fitness center. All this adds up to a great night of sleep and a great stay.
