The Brian Grivna Quartet

Jazz from Ellington to contemporary.
Brian Grivna , a renowned freelance musician in the Twin Cities, has spent 12 years as a staff woodwind player at the Guthrie Theater and has toured with the Buddy Rich Band. He has performed and recorded with the Minnesota Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. He had been a regular on “A Prairie Home Companion” and has played in many Broadway pit bands. He teaches saxophone and jazz improvisation at Macalester College and the University of Minnesota.
